Great News! As of the 5th January 2010 Talking Drums limited became a registered community interest company.

Talking Drums provided a weeks workshops at Kings Norton HS in late October 2009. The participants took part in a variety of activities including Djembe drumming, Dj & graffiti workshops, craft activities and continued group discussion throughout the week. They also wrote and recorded some lyrics, heres what they came up with:

Talking Drums provided a series of workshops with young people in Handsworth Commuity Centre, St Georges. Djembe Workshops and Djing workshops were on offer and the young people worked towards a performance later on in the week, Talking Drums Neville Brown from Cornerstone also performed on the night.

August 2009 talking drums provided a weeks wokshops for young people at the YMCA in Northfield. Activities included Djing workshops, Djembe drumming, street dance, graffiti painting, continued group discussion and lyric writing.
